EAMCET counselling likely from the second week

The counselling for admission to the engineering, medical, MBA and MCA colleges is likely to begin in the second week of this month as the decks cleared for providing four percent reservation to economically and educationally backward Muslims.

The Chairman of AP State Council of Higher Education KC Reddy said that the admission committee for admission to various courses will meet on July 9 and finalize the date of counselling. The council has been awaiting AICTE permission for colleges in the State. Out of the 295 colleges in the State, only 195 have got the green signal so far. The Commission has decided not to include any college without obtaining University affiliation.
