3. Answer any four of the following questions in about 150 words each :

(i) Mention types of objective type questions with examples. Also point out their merits and demerits.

(ii) What are question banks? Discuss briefly their use in students' evaluation.

(iii) Briefly discuss the functions, advantages and disadvantages of continuous evaluation.

(iv) Give the application and use of Normal Distribution.

(v) Explain the difference between evaluation, assessment and measurement.

(vi) Why does the maximum value of coefficient of correlation lie between -1 to +1? Discuss.

(vii) Practical tests generally become farcical. As a practising teacher, how can you make them meaningful and purposeful?

4. Answer the following question in about 600 words. Choose a teaching-unit of the subject of your choice of class IX. State its objectives in the three domains. Mention the types of suitable tools for their assessment and prepare three test items for each domain.
