Explain the nature of science as a process and a product with suitable illustrations.

What is meant by 'Demonstration'? Describe the use, advantages and disadvantages of 'Demonstration Method' for teachinėg of science.

2. Answer the following question in about 600 words:

Identify the main teaching points, formulate corresponding objectives and explain teaching-learning process that you will follow while teaching any one of the following topics at Secondary level:

(i) Electromagnetism

(ii) Chemical Reactions

3. Write brief notes on any five of the following in about 120 words each:

(i) Principles of Curriculum Planning

(ii) Remedial material in Science

(iii) Blue-print and its importance

(iv) Lesson Planning - its use and format

(v) Lecture Method - use and disadvantages

(vi) Teaching of Force

(vii) Teaching of Chemical Bonding

(viii) Teaching of 'Nutrition'

4. Answer the following question in about 600 words:

You being a Science teacher at Secondary level, are incharge of a Science Laboratory, Critically analyse the plan and use of Science Laboratory along with its various aspects like storage, procurement of equipments and chemicals etc. Suggest improvements for the Science Laboratory and draw a layout plan for an improved Science Laboratory.
