PART - A

Write short notes on any two of the following :(5+5)

(a) International advertising agency

(b) International market targeting

(c) Telemarketing

(d) Interdependence of products and services.

(b)) Direct exporting and indirect exporting

(c) Licensing and franchising as modes of foreign market entry.

(d) Product standardisation and product adaptation.

PART - B

Attempt any four of the following questions :

3. What is international marketing orientation ? Explain EPRO orientation in international marketing.(5+15)

4. A company wants to enter into international marketing. It is not in a position to put additional investments in the foreign markets. Examine the various modes of foreign market entry suitable to the company. Explain each of them with their merits and limitations.(20)

5. Explain the steps involved in international market selection.(20)

6. "International marketing research is full of complexities". - Comment. (20)

7. What is international sales promotion ? Describe various sales promotion tools available to international marketers.(5+15)

8. Describe the phases of international product life cycle. Explain how it helps in product planning.(10+10)
