1.2 Define 'information' and 'information science'. Also discuss different kinds of barriers to information.

2.1 Explain- 'information diffusion'. Discuss the models of diffusion process.

2.2 Write an essay on 'modes of information generation'.

3.1 Why is an organised planning of KGEU process essential in post-industrial information society? Discuss.

OR

3.2 "Librarians have to put to use organised and socialized knowledge to solve various problems of a society". Elucidate.

4.1 Highlight the economic characteristics of information, giving suitable examples.

OR

4.2 Discuss the implications of an Information Society.

5.O Write short notes on any three of the following (in about 300 words each):
