Applications are invited for the Common Entrance Tests (KUCET – 2007) for admission to various Post-Graduate and Post-Graduate Diploma courses offered under year wise / semester system in
M.A. Telugu, English, Hindi, Economics, Political Science, Public Administration, History, Sociology; M.Sc. Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Bio-Chemistry, Micro-Biology, Bio-Technology, Mathematics (including Statistics), Physics (including Engineering Physics & Instrumentation); Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM), Master of Tourism Management (MTM), Master of Social Work (MSW), M. Com., M. Com. (Financial Accounting); P.G. Diploma Course in Sericulture (PGDS) and M. L. I. Sc.
M.Ed. (2006-2007)
At University College, KU Campus, University Constituent Colleges at Warangal, Khammam, Karimnagar, Nirmal & Godavarikhani and Private Affiliated Colleges under the jurisdiction of Kakatiya University for the academic year 2007-2008. The Test will be conducted in the month of May/June 2007. Details of the courses offered at various colleges and the eligibility criteria are given in the information brochure to be supplied with application form. Candidates who have passed or who have appeared for final year of the qualifying examination of 2007 are eligible to apply. Admissions will be regulated by the Directorate of Admissions, Kakatiya University. Admissions will be made on the basis of the rank obtained in the Entrance Test and eligibility criteria as specified in the Information Brochure.
KUCET – 2007 application form and information brochure can be obtained from the Directorate of Admissions, Kakatiya University, Vidyaranyapuri, Warangal – 506 009 on payment of Rs. 150/- either in cash or by submitting a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, KUCET A/c. Payable at SBH, Kakatiya University Branch (2262), Warangal. Candidates can also obtain application(s) by post by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope (35 x 25 cms) duly affixing postage stamps worth Rs. 25/- (for ordinary post) and Rs. 42/- (for registered post) along with the Demand Draft. Applicant should invariably write his/her name, address and the course applied on the reverse of the DD.
The following is the schedule:
1. Sale of Application Forms from: 02-4-2007 (10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.)
2. Last date for receipt of filled in application forms without late fee : 30-4-2007 (up to 5.00 p.m.)
3. Last date for receipt of filled in application forms with a late fee of Rs.200/-:07-5-2007 (up to 5.00 p.m.)
4. Last date for receipt of filled in application forms with a late fee of Rs.500/-: 14-5-2007 (up to 5.00 p.m.)
5. Last date for receipt of filled in application forms with a late fee of Rs.1,000/-: 21-5-2007 (up to 5.00 p.m.)
6. Commencement of Entrance Tests from: 26-5-2007.
Note:
1. Read the instructions given in the information brochure for further details.
2. Separate application form shall be submitted for each course.
3. Kakatiya University will not be responsible for any postal delay or loss of application forms.
4. University reserves the right not to conduct Entrance Test in those courses where the number of applications received is inadequate.
5. There is no Entrance Test for M.A. (Sanskrit), PG Diploma in Clinical Biochemistry, Bio-Informatics, M. Sc. Computer Science and M. Sc. Geology Courses. Interested Candidates can apply and attend on the day of Counseling with required fee and necessary certificates. Eligibility criteria and fee details are available in Kakatiya University Website.

7. Date of First Phase Counseling for Admission will be intimated in the Rank Card. No separate Call Letters will be sent to the Candidates.
8. 5% Supernumerary seats in each course are available to Students from outside Andhra Pradesh.
9. 15% Supernumerary seats are also available to Foreign Students in each course without Entrance Test.
