Yogi Vemana University was established on 9th March 2006 at Kadapa, which is centrally located in Rayalaseema Zone of Andhra Pradesh. The University is conducting entrance examinations (YVUCET 2007) for various academic disciplines for the year 2007-2008 for which applications in the prescribed form are invited. Candidates who are graduates or appearing for final year UG Examinations are qualified to appear for the entrance test for the following courses.

Application along with instruction booklet can be obtained from the Director, Directorate of Admissions, Yogi Vemana University, Vemanapuram, Kadapa-516 003. On submisition of a crossed demand draft obtained on or before – 09-04-2007 for Rs. 200/- drawn in favour of the Director, Directorate of Admissions, Yogi Vemana University, Vemanapuram, Kadapa – 516 003, payable at State Bank of India, Yerramukkapalli, Kadapa – 516004, along with a self addressed envelope of size 40 cm x 30 cm and stamps (worth Rs. 25/- by ordinary post and Rs. 47/- by registered post). A separate application is to be obtained for submitting for each subject. Money orders, Postal orders, Cash will not be accepted.
