The question paper will have 15 parts. Part 1 (Mathematics) has 30 questions. Part 2 (Basic Engg. and Science) has 45 questions. All correct answers up to a maximum of 30 questions will be given credit; but allthe wrong answers will be taken into account for the purpose of negative marks. Part 1 and Part 2 are common for all the candidates. Parts 3 to 15 relate to various disciplines such as Civil, Mech. Etc. each part consisting of 40/45 questions. Candidate has to choose any one of the disciplines and has to answer all the questions in that discipline. The questions will be of scholastic aptitude type. Each question will be followed by four alternate answers. The duration of the test is 2 Hours.
While evaluating the answers, one mark is awarded for each correct answer and 1/3 mark is deducted for each wrong answer. However, no deduction will be made for questions left unanswered. Multiple shading will be considered as wrong answer and 1/3 mark will be deducted.
