Andhra University - AU Convocation to be held on August 25

Last date for submitting application forms is August 14

According to a press release issued by Andhra University (AU) Registrar P Vijaya Prakash, the 73rd Convocation of Andhra University will be held at Sri Kattamanchi Ramalinga Reddy Utsav pranganam on the AU Campus on August 25. The release said that the Chairman of the National Knowledge Commission Sam Pitroda will deliver the convocation address.

Candidates who have passed PG Degree and diploma and professional degree courses during the year 2003 and 2004 main examinations will be awarded degrees or diplomas during this Convocation while PhD and MPhil degrees would be awarded as on date. Candidates who wish to receive their degrees or diplomas in person or in absentia should apply in a proforma available with the Controller of Examinations that can be downloaded from the AU Website.

The fee is Rs. 300 in person and Rs. 350 in absentia and has to be paid in the form of a demand draft issued by any nationalized bank drawn in favour of the Registrar, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. The application form along with the required enclosures along with the demand draft has to be sent to V Annamaniammma, Deputy Registrar, Andhra University in an envelop superscribed “Application for Convocation” and the last date is August 14 said the press release.
