National level seminar from February 7 to 9

The Department of Philosophy of Andhra University (AU) is organizing a national seminar on 'Morality and Social Policy: A Philosophical Analysis of Liberty, Equality and Justice' at TLN Sabha Hall from February 7 to 9 as part of its platinum jubilee celebrations.
Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, KR Rajani, seminar director and associate professor said that the seminar would concentrate on three themes namely civil disobedience and protest, economic inequality and welfare and preferential justice and reverse discrimination. The objective is to study various social and political issues.
The District and Sessions Judge R. Kanta Rao will inaugurate the seminar. Ashok Vohra of Delhi University will deliver the keynote address. State Human Rights Commission Secretary S Chellappa will be the guest of honour. AU Vice Chancellor, L. Venugopal Reddy will attend the valedictory function as the chief guest.
