Vice Chancellor says University is transforming to a global learning center

Vice Chancellor of the Andhra University L Venugopal Reddy released a book that carries university information ranging from the History of the University, Academic Courses, Departments, Research facilities and other relevant information necessary for the International Students who wish to peruse courses and research at the University. Speaking at the book release program, he said that the University is gradually moving to become a global learning center citing the twinning programs and MoU with foreign university as steps towards this.
Speaking on the research activities, he said the growing number of Ph.D's awarded by the University stands for this. He said that the College of Arts and Commerce will give 111, College of Science and technology 79, College of Engineering 37, College of Law 25 and College of Pharmacy 25 at the upcoming 73rd and 74th Convocation of the University.
