Scientists and policy farmers must work in tandem, says Minister D Srinivas

The Andhra Pradesh Minister for Higher Education and Science, D Srinivas called on the scientists and academicians should work in tandem with the policies framed by the governments to benefit the common man. Speaking at the 95th Indian Science Congress valedictory today, he offered support to the scientific community in their effort to give their best to the human community.
He advised the scientists and academicians to address issues like rapid public transit, green revolution and environmental upkeep through scientific approach. ISC general president R Ramamurti expressed his happiness over successful completion of the prestigious event and thanked the Andhra University authorities for their support.
Vice Chancellor of Andhra University, L Venugopal Reddy thanked all the government departments, organizations, private industries and individuals for supporting the University in hosting the event. Awards were presented to the winners of Infosys-ISCA Travel Awards, Best Poster Awards and other medals on the occasion.
