The Office of the Director of Government Examinations has released a set of new modified due dates for the payment of examination fee by Regular/Once-failed/Private SSC candidates for the Public Examinations to be held in March 2008.
The last date for remittance of fee by the candidates to the Headmasters concerned is October 1 without penalty, October 16 with a penalty of Rs. 50, October 31 with Rs. 200 and November 15 with Rs. 500.
The corresponding deadlines for the remittance by the Headmasters into the Sub Treasury or bank are October 4, 18, November 2 and 17 respectively. All heads of the institutes should remit the fee in the prescribed Treasury Challan only with a list of candidates enclosed to it, the release said.
