Georgia Institute of Technology signs MoI with State Government

To set up campuses at Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam

Hyderabad, June 5, 2007

The Georgia Institute of Technology, a US institute offering degree to undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D degrees in technological courses singed a memorandum of Intent (MoI) with the State Government to establish its centre on Tuesday.

The Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy announce alienation of a 20 acre land at Hyderabad and 70 acres at Visakhapatnam for expansion of the campuses in the second phase. Georgia Hyderabad will truly international university as it will take students from other countries as in the parent university in the United States and award the same degrees.
