Government issued orders

The Government in a partial modification of the orders issued in GO Ms No.134 decided to continue the existing horticulture degree courses and post graduate programmes at Rajendranagar campus. The courses will run with the existing sanctioned strength of 80 students. However, the courses will be under the control of new Horticulture University.
Students of B.Sc (Horticulture) already studying in the existing agriculture colleges will continue to be from 2nd year in the colleges unless they opt to join the new horticulture colleges under the new Horticulture University.
According to the Minister for Agriculture, N Raghuveera Reddy in a statement said that baseless apprehensions were raised regarding the horticulture courses at Rajendranger campus. He further said that the Chief Minister, Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy is keen on encouraging the horticulture in a bigger way.
