Common Question paper and jumbling system on cards
Hyderabad, June 20, 2007
With the marks of the Intermediate Examination gaining weight because of their weightage to the Engineering and Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET), the Board of Intermediate Education has come up with a new system of the conduction of practical examinations for the students of Intermediate. The new set of rules will be effective from this academic year.
As per the announcement from the Board, jumbling (or shuffling) system will be put in place for the practical examinations like the theory examinations. With this, a student is unlikely to be alloted the same college as the practical examination center. The system would be applicable for both Government and private junior colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
The Board is also planning to conduct checks to ensure that the necessary laboratory facilities are available in the colleges. BIE Secretary RP Sisodia says that the Board is considering insisting the colleges to have a full-fledged laboratories in place.
