APSCHE gives clarification

Hyderabad, November 7, 2007

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has clarified that the newly created three universities at Rajahmundry, Telangana University at Nizamabad and Yogi Vemana University at Kadapa will automatically get recognition by the UGC as they have been created under the States Act.

The universities applied to the UGC recently for recognition of the UGC Act and the recognition would come automatically said the Chairman of APSCHE KC Reddy on Wednesday. He further said that there is no truth in the reports that Telangana University not getting recognition as there is no communication received for none of the three universities.
