Mahathma Gandhi University - Notification for Post Graduate Entrance Test & Admissions 2008

Sale of Applications: 08-05-2008 to 12-06-2008

Applications are invited for the Common Entrance Test (MGUCET 2008) for admission into various PG Courses offered at Mahathma Gandhi University for the academic year 2008-2009. Candidates who have passed or appearing for the final year of the qualifying examination of 2008 are eligible to appear. A candidate can apply for a maximum of 2 courses in one application form.

The Students who have appeared or passed Intermediate (Bi.P.C., M.P.C) are eligible to apply for M.Sc Five Year Integrated Pharmaceutical Chemistry

** Admission into these courses is to be done by the Convener, ICET 2008

5% Supernumerary seats in each course are available to the candidates belonging to outside Andhra Pradesh under National Integration Quota (NIQ).

Procedure to Apply

The application form along with the information brochure can be obtained on payment of Rs. 50/- in cash from

2) University Publications & Press, Osmania University, Hyderabad – 500 007

3) Applications can also be obtained by post from the Director, University Publications & Press, Osmania University, Hyderabad – 500 007 by sending a Demand Draft for Rs. 50/- in favor of the Director, Publications & Press, Osmania University, Hyderabad along with a self-addressed envelope (size 10"x14") with postal stamps worth Rs. 53/- affixed

Without late fee: 31-05-2008 upto 4.00 p.m.
With a late fee of Rs. 100: 07-06-2008 upto 4.00 p.m.
With a late fee of Rs. 500: 12-06-2008 upto 4.00 p.m.

Filled in applications along with a demand draft for requisite fee drawn on any Nationalized Bank, in favor of "Registrar, Mahathma Gandhi University" payable at Nalgonda, should reach the Convener, Mahathma Gandhi University, PG College, Panagal, Nalgonda 508 001, on or before the dates mentioned above. Candidates are advised to submit the application form well in advance. University is not responsible for any postal delay.

The application form and prospectus is also available on website www.mguniversity.ac.in. The candidates can download a copy of application form & ICR sheet and apply to the convener, MGUCET 2008, with a DD for Rs. 200/- for each subject before 31.05.2008. Without DD application form will be rejected.
