NTR University of Health Sciences to issue notification on July 9

The Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences Vice Chancellor AV Krishnam Raju speaking to media on Saturday said that the counselling for admissions into MBBS and BDS courses will commence from July 21 and will issue notification to this effect on July 9.

According to him, the counselling will be held in five centres viz., NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, JNTU, Hyderabad, Osmania University, Hyderabad, Sri Venkateswara University at Tirupati and Andhra University at Visakhapatnam. The university has also introduced online submission of application for the first time. He said online downloading and registration of applications would apply to eight under graduate courses including MBBS and BDS.

For submission of application on line, candidates could vist the website http://appn-truhs.ap.nic.in between 10am on July 10 and 6pm on July 16. Applications could be downloaded after feeding the relevant information asked by the portal. The system would generate a registration number for future reference of the candidate. After printing the on line application, the candidate would have to send it for registration along with a photograph and a demand draft of prescribed amount to the Registrar on or before 6pm on July 16.

An expert committee would scrutinize all applications to check caste and other documents. Registration cards would be made available on the portal and the candidates would have to show a printed copy of the same at the time of counselling. Merit list would be displayed on the website and at all the five counselling centres from 10 am on July 20.
