NTR University of Health Sciences - Medical PG Counselling

Counselling will be conducted from April 4 to 10

According to the NTR University of Health Sciences in charge registrar Sivaprasad, the Counselling for Post Graduate medical degree and diploma courses for the academic year 2007-08 will be conducted from April 4 to 10. Speaking to media, he said that the counselling would be commenced at 9am and nearly 400 candidates would be called every day to fill 905 seats. He stated that out of 5102 candidates appeared for the entrance test, only 3425 candidates were selected for counselling.

He further said that the roaster points and the seat matrix would be displayed on the university website and notice boards for information of candidates. The counselling will be held for 187 G medical degree courses, 162 PG medical diploma courses, 147 PG surgery group, 46 clinical diplomas an 192 non clinical degrees an 32 non clinical diploma courses.

The total number of seats in government medical colleges is 827 while in non minority private colleges, it is 8 and non minority private colleges management quota it is 87. He said that the physically handicapped candidates should report at the university campus at 8am on April 4 before medical board for confirmation of status of disability as per the guidelines of Medical Council of India.
