NTR University of Health Sciences - Notification issued for admission in MBBS and BDS postponed

Fresh notification to be issued soon

On Monday, the Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences postponed the scheduled release of notification for admission into MBBS and BDS course. The fresh notification is likely to be released on Wednesday morning. The postponement is due to the directions from the government to the University on administrative grounds.

Candidates will now not be able to access any information about submission of online applications, which can be done only after the issuance of the notification. According to University sources, a Government Order was issued by the BC Welfare Department on reservations for backward Muslims, it was withdrawn at the last minute to ensure that the overall reservations did not cross fifty percent.

According to reliable sources, that the government had announced 4 percent reservation for BC Muslims on the assumption that the total extent of reservations would not cross 50 percent but later realized that if the reservations for the children of Ex-servicemen and other categories were taken into account, it will cross 50 percent barrier.
