The professor of the College of Management Studies, GITAM MV Rama Prasad will present his paper on ‘Consumer behaviour in the global order’ in an international conference on ‘Marketing in the new global order’ to be organized by the Indian Institute of Management-Indore from December 18 to 20 at Indore. In this connection, it may be recalled that he was selected for University Grants Research award in the year 2004.

Insurance Regulatory Development Authority (IRDA) Chairman CS Rao participating in the inaugural function of PG Diploma in Risk and Insurance Management (PGDRIM) at the College of Management Studies at GITAM on Friday spoke on the job opportunities. He stressed the importance of verbal and written communication skills in English for exploring the employment prospects.

CMS is the first institution to start PGDRIM in the State with approval and financial assistance from University Grants Commission (UGC). AU Vice Chancellor L.Venugopal Reddy congratulated GITAM on launching this innovative course in the region. The IRDA Chairman released a book on 'New Deal in Insurance'.
