Applications are invited for the Common Entrance Test (YUVCET-2009) for admission into various P.G. Courses offered at Yogi Vemana University for the academic year 2009-2010. Candidates who have passed or appearing for the final year of the qualifying examination of 2009 are eligible to apply. A candidate can apply for a maximum of 5 (five) courses (for which he/she is eligible). The candidate has to submit separate application for each course with required enclosures.

M.Sc.: Animal Science (Zoology); Applied Mathematics; Biochemistry; Biotechnology; Chemistry; Environmental Science; Geology & Geoinformatics; Microbiology; Physics; Plant Science (Botany), Generics & Genomics*; Material Science & Nano Technology* and Psychology*

M.A: Economics; English; History & Archeology; Political Science & Public Administration; Telugu; Fine Arts & Performing Arts* and Journalism & Communication * and Master of Commernce (M.Com)

Procedure to Apply: The application form of YUVCET 2009 and the prospectus can be had from the office of the C.P. Brown Library. Yerramukkapalli, Kadapa or the office of the Directorate of Admissions, Y.V. University, Kadapa – 516003 in person or by post by sending a self addressed stamped (Rs. 20/- by ordinary post and Rs. 50/- by registered post) envelope of the size 40 cm & 30 cm along with Demand Draft for Rs. 200/- drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of The Convener, Directorate of Admissions, Y.V. University, Kadapa with the name and address of the applicant written on the reverse side of the Draft) and payable at State Bank of India, YVU Campus Branch (Code No: 10109), Kadapa

Note: 1) Admission test for the courses marked * will be conducted at a later date separately and the exact date of admission test will be intimated in due course.

2)If the No. of applications received or qualified candidates are inadequate, the University reserves the right to conduct / cancel the test / admission in that subject for the academic year 2009-10.

1.Sale of application forms: 30-03-2009 to 15-05-2009

2.Last date for the receipt of filled in application forms by any mode:

a. without late fee: 30-03-2009 to 23-04-2009 up to 5.00 pm

b. with late fee of Rs. 24-04-2009 to 30-04-2009 up to 5.00 pm

3. Date of Entrance Tests: 17-05-2009 to 20-05-2009
