University of Delhi - Delhi University Admissions 2007 process begins

Over 32,600 applications sold on the first day itself

The Delhi University has sold as many as 32,600 applications on the first day of the opening of the sale of common pre-admission forms and information bulletins of the University. Students are seen standing in long queues to buy application forms at the designated 17 centres setup in Delhi. The counters were opened at 10:00 AM.

Reaching the campus was found to be a problem for some students as the campus is large and there are little or no transportation inside the campus. Students however ignored this problem apart from the scotching sun to get their application forms.
