Eligibility Criteria / Entry Requirements
1.All candidates having a three-year/five-year LL.B. Degree from the University of Delhi or any other Indian or foreign University recognized as equivalent by the University of Delhi with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade point in the aggregate. 2.The candidates belonging to SC/ST/CW category having a three-year/five-year LL.B. Degree from the University of Delhi or any other Indian or foreign University recognized as equivalent by the University of Delhi with at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point in the aggregate. 3. Relaxation of upto 5% marks in the minimum eligibility prescribed for general candidates will be allowed to the candidates belonging to PH category on the recommendations of the Medical Board.

Mode of Admission
Based on a rank obtained in the entrance examination conducted by the University. The notification for the entrance examination will generally be released in the month of March / April and the Entrance Examination will be generally held in the last week of June every year. The entrance test notification will appear in leading newspapers and will also be put up on the Internet. Bulletin of Information with application form may be obtained from the office of the Admission Committee, Faculty of Law. (1) The candidates appearing in the LL.B. Degree examination or awaiting the results of any such examination are also eligible to appear in the LL.M. Entrance Test, for that particular year provisionally but they cannot be considered for admission unless they produce the proof of their having secured the above percentage of marks making them eligible and other relevant documents as indicated in the prospectus at the time of admission. (2) Rounding off a fraction of marks in not allowed.

The minimum age for those who have completed LL.B. five year degree course is 22 years and 23 years in case of LL.B. three years degree course from the date mentioned in the prospectus for the particular year of admission.
