Eligibility Criteria / Entry Requirements

B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics (3Years Course after 10+2) with 50% or above marks in aggregate both main and subsidiary (integrated) and 50% or above marks in Physics from Delhi University or any other University whose examination is recognized as equivalent to University of Delhi and fulfil other conditions of eligibility.
OR
B.Sc.(Genl.)/B.Sc. (Pass) (3 Years course after 10+2) with 60% or above marks in the aggregate and 60% or above marks in Physics. from Delhi University or any other University whose Examination is recognized as equivalent to Delhi University and fulfil other conditions of eligibility.
OR
Any branch of Science or Engineering with Physics and Mathematics as two of the Subjects with 60% or above marks in the aggregate and 60% or above marks in Physics.

NOTE: 1. A candidate passing B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics as main subject must have passed Mathematics and Chemistry/Statistics/Geology/Electronics/Computer Science as subsidiary/ancillary subjects.

2. A candidate who wishes to be admitted to M.Sc. course in Physics must have passed B.Sc. (Genl)/(Pass) Examination with either of then following combination:

(a). Physics, Chemistry and Maths
(b). Physics, Maths and Statistics.
(c). Physics, Maths and Geology.
(d). Physics, Maths and Electronics.
(e). Physics, Maths and Computer Science.
