Delhi Sanskrit Academy Invites Applications (In Brief Synopsis) from Writers, Journalists, Teachers & Eminent Scholars of Sanskrit language for All-India Sanskrit Research Essay Competition 2006-07 on following subjects:

i) History of Space Science (From Veda to Modern times)
ii) History of Geology (From Veda to Modern times)
iii) History of Bhugarbha Vigyan (From Veda to Modern times)
iv) History of Metallurgy (From Veda to Modern times)
v) History of Vastu Kala Science (From Veda to Modern times)

The writers whose synopsis of research essay is selected would be invited to submit detailed research essay. They are requested to observe following guidelines while writing research essays and submitting the synopsis:

Instructions:

1. Essay should be in Sanskrit Language
2. Essay should be based on facts pertaining to Sanskrit Literature
3. Essay should be minimum of 250 pages
4. Essay should be written on electronic typewriter in 13 ½ x 8 ½ size paper

Other instructions on the subject would be intimated after acceptance of the synopsis of Research Essay.

Prizes:

1. First Prize: Rs. 20,000/-
2. Second Prize: Rs. 15,000/-
3. Third Prize: Rs. 10,000/-

The last date for receipt of synopsis of Research Essay is 31-10-2006.
