Bachelor's Degree Preparatory Programme (BPP)*
It is a six months programme for those learners who are not 10+2 pass but wish to do BA/BCom/BTS/BSW from IGNOU. After successfully completing BPP, they can be admitted in BA/BCom/BTS/BSW and many other programmes.
* BPP is in no way equivalent to 10+2 examination but only provides opportunity to pursue BA/BCom/BTS/BSW etc., from IGNOU.
Obtaining Prospectus
The Student Handbook & Prospectus can be obtained from all the Regional Director, IGNOU, whose addresses are given below or from Register, SR&E Division, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068, in person on payment of Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty only) in cash or through post by sending an IPO/Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at the city from where the Prospectus is required. Please write your name and address on the back side of the DD/IPO.
Last Date: (i) To receive the requisition for supply of Student Handbook by post 10.05.2007
(ii) Submission of filled-in forms at the concerned Regional Centre 31.05.2007.
Prospective students of CTPM Programme need to obtain an additional leaflet along with the Prospectus idicating the details of the Programme and apply through the admission form given in the Prospectus of 2007. Similarly, there is a seperate Prospectus for Advanced Certificate in Power Distribution Management (ACPDM). Candidates seeking admission to ACPDM Programme may obtain the separate Prospectus
The University invites applications for admission to Master of Business Administration (Banking & Finance) MBA (B&F).
The Prospectus can be obtained from any of the Regional Centres listed below or Director, SRED, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi - 110068 on Payment of Rs. 300/- in cash or Rs. 350/- through DD for sending by post.
Eligibility: Candidates should be a member of Indian Institute of Banking & Finance, Mumbai, should have passed the CAIIB examination, should be a Graduate and should have been working in the Banking or Financial Services sector for at least two years. The Last Date for submission of the application form for MBA (B&F) at Regional Centre is 31.5.2007. Application form can be downloaded from IGNOU website at www.ignou.ac.in and Submitted along with DD for Rs. 300/- in addition to the Programme Fee.
This is a non-credit awareness course that has been developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government. of India. This course with multimedia inputs, aims to create environmental consciousness amongst professionals and informed citizens such as engineers, doctors, government officials planners, academicians, and all those who are interested in the cause of environment. Candidates can obtain the general Prospectus and apply for the course.
