The institute offers Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD) in its Heritage Campus, Ahmedabad and Post-Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (PGDPD) in its three campuses.

Admission information for Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD)

Forms and information, can be obtaincd from Academic Office, NID. Ahmedabad directly by sending a Demand Draft on any Scheduled Bank payable at Ahmcdabad for Rs. 1050/- (Rs. 500/- for reserved categories, who should also send a copy of the relevant document from competent authority) favouring National Institute of Design, and a self-addressed envelope of 8"x12" size with Rs. 25/- stamps affixed. Mark your envelope 'Admissions 2008. Forms downloaded from NID's website, along with required amount of DD drawn in favour of National Institute of Design. payable at Ahmedabad will also be accepted.

Prescribed percentage of seats are reserved for candidates belonging to various reserved categories as per the Government of India norms in force at the time of admissions Design Aptitude Tests (DAT) for eligible candidates for Graduate Diploma Programmes will be held at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kanpur, Kochi, Kolkata & Mumbai.

Application forms and prospectus can also be obtained from following select branches of Bank of India as per the details given below on payment of Rs.1050/-towards the cost ofthe form plus Rs.30/- as bank charges from October 9 to November 23, 2007.
