Admission To Research Programmes (PhD) 2008-09

Applications are invited for admission to research programmes leading to the award of degree of Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph. D.) in the teaching departments of Architecture, Biotechnology, Chemical, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical Engineering; Management & Humanities (English & Communication Skills) and Applied Sciences (Physics, Chemistry and Maths) of the University.

The Prospectus containing application form and other details is available in the Academic Branch on cash payment of Rs. 600/- (Rs.150/- in case of SC/ST/BC candidates of Haryana) w.e.f. 01.01.09 and can also be obtained through post from Assistant Registrar (Academic) by sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 650/- (Rs. 200/- in case of SC/ST/BC candidates of Haryana) in favour of Registrar, DCRUST payable at Sonepat by January 20, 2009. The application form and other details may also be downloaded from university website www.dcrustm.ac.in. Such applications must be attached with a Demand Draft of Rs. 600/- (Rs. 150/- in case of SC/ST/BC candidates of Haryana). Candidates applying for more than one department should submit a separate application for each department. Reservation for SC/ST/BC candidates will be applicable as per Haryana Government policy.

Five, Sir C. V. Raman Research Scholarships, one each in Chemical, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Management & Humanities, Mechanical of Rs. 18000/- plus Rs. 5000/- (Contingency Expenses) each per month are also available for Full Time bonafide Haryana resident candidates as per the guidelines of Haryana State Counseling Society (www.hscs.org). The admissions for Sir C. V. Raman Research Scholarships will be made through Entrance Test in addition to other eligibility/admission criterion as laid down in the ordinance.

Applications, complete in all respect, must reach Prof. R. K. Garg, Research Coordinator of the University latest by February 02, 2009 upto 5.00 pm. Incomplete applications or those received after last date shall not be entertained.

Note: The number of Scholarships may increase or decrease in any department.
