Automotive Electronics	Theory: Modern Automotive Systems, Control System Integration and Analysis, Embedded Microcontrollers for Automotive Applications, Real Time Systems. Lab:Lab View, MATLAB, AMESim, Code Warrior, M68HC12 Motorola board, Vx Works
Embedded System Design	Theory: Advanced C for Embedded Programming, Data Structure, Embedded Linux, 8051Microcontroller. ARM, PowerPC, Network Programming, JNI & J2ME, CAN, USB, 12C, RTOS, Vxworks, OSEK. Lab:C Programming, Redhat Linux, Embedix, Platform Creation suite, ARM Developer suite, ARM 7T simulator, Metroworks PCS, Keil C51, metorworks codewarrior, J2ME, 6812DP56MCV board, AT8GSTK-06 Board, Tornado, Vxworks, Rational Rose Real Time, Rational Test Real Time, OSEK Turbo.
M-CAD	Theory:Computer Aided engineering, Mechanism Simulation, finite Element Analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Reverse Engineering & Rapid Prototyping. Lab:CATIA/Pro-E, UG/IDEAS, ANSYS/NASTRAN PATRAN, FLUENT, ADAMS, Hypermesh, Reverse Engineering.
Mobile & Wireless Communication	Theory:Network Protocols & Multimedia Computing, RF System Design, ADS & Empire 3D, GSM Technologies, CDMA Technologies, Broadband, 3G wireless & Beyond. Lab:Introduction to C/MATLAB, Networking & Multimedia Computing LAB (C Programming/MATLAB/ OMAP), RF System Design LAB (ADS & Empire 3D), GSM Tehnologies LAB(GSM/GPRS/GPS Training Modules), CDMA Technologies LAB (CAIT Tools), WLAN & Bluetooth Module.
VLSI System Design	Theory:Microelectronics, Verilog HDL & FPGA, CMOS Fabrication & Circuit Design, ASIC – Synthesis, Testing and Timing Analysis, VLSI Physical Design & Verification Lab:Circuits lab, Xilinx/Actel/Altera, H-Spice/Nanasim/Tanner, DC/PT/DFT, Astro/Hercules, Jupiter XT, Star RC-XT, Full suite of CADENCE Tools.

Admission is based on merit; Course Starts on: 29th November 2006

Engineering graduates, Engineering diploma holders, B.Sc., M.Sc., graduates are eligible.

Interested Candidates can register by paying a registration fee of Rs. 3850/- in cash in the form of DD payable to M.S. Ramaiah School of Advanced Studies, Bangalore, Registration fee will be refunded if Candidates are not selected for admission.

Fee: Rs. 40,000/- for M-CAD, VLSI & ESDC and Rs. 30,000/- for other programmes.

Library caution deposit of Rs. 2000/- (Refundable on completion of course)

Tuition fee can be paid in installments
