The students who have discontinued M.A./ M.Sc./ M.Com. in other Universities and who seek admission for second year of the same P.G. course offered by KUDEC will be given exemption with regard to the duration of the course only and they will have to take exam and complete the previous years papers as per the KUDEC regulations.

Note : Admission to all M.A., M.Sc. Mathematics, M.Com., B.A., B.Com. and B.B.M. Courses are based on both Regular and Open University System

Eligibility

Any graduate who has passed the qualifying examination shall be eligible for Post Graduate Course and any candidate who has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognised Board of Education shall be eligible for admission to Under Graduate Courses. Any person who has attained the age of 21 years can seek admission for any Masters Course in Arts & Commerce subjects and for M.Sc. in Mathematics / A person who has attained 18 years can seek admission for any Bachelors Course except for B.L.I.Sc.

Application form and Prospectus can be obtained from THE DIRECTOR, DISTANCE EDUCATION COUNCIL, Kuvempu University, Jnana Sahyadri, Shankaraghatta - 577 451, Karnataka, after 30-06-2003 in person OR by sending a requisition and self addressed envelope of size 24 cms x 30 cms with postal stamps worth Rs. 40/- fixed on the envelope, and a crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 100/- towards the cost of Application form and Prospectus, drawn in favour of THE FINANCE OFFICER, Kuvempu University, Shankaraghatta - 577 451, payable at State Bank of Mysore, B.R. Project. Amount in any other form like M.O./ I.P.O. etc., will not be accepted.

Note : The candidate will have to mention the course for which application is required.

Prospectus and Application can also be procured by paying Rs. 105/- at the counters of State Bank of Mysore, B.R. Project and Main Branches of State Bank of Mysore in District Head Quarters in Karnataka State and State Bank of Mysore Branches in Andhra Pradesh and Kerala & District and Taluk Post Offices in Karnataka. These shall also be available at Sahyadri Colleges, Shimoga, P.G. Centre, Tholahunase, Near Davangere, Fine Arts College and UBDT Engineering College, Davangere.
