National Institute of Technology Karnataka Surathkal - Addendum to Admission Notification – PG Admissions dated 07.04-2008

Last date for submission of filled application forms for all M.Tech, MBA, MSc and PhD Programmes has been extended to May 28, 2008

In accordance with O.M.No. 1-1/2005-U.1.A/847 dated 20th April 2008, received from MHRD, Govt. of India, it is decided by NITK Surathkal to implement the reservations for OBC candidates in its various Post graduate programmes in two phases starting from the academic session 2008-09. Candidates belonging to the OBC can check their eligibility pertaining to creamy layer by visiting the NCBC website http://ncbc.nic.in/backward-classes/index.html and http://persmin.nic/circular_reports Candidates belonging to OBC who have already submitted the applications are advised to submit the necessary recent certificates from the Institution without any extra payment.

For revised seat matrix for OBC, SC, ST and other categories, please visit institute website nitk.ac.in. Candidates are encouraged to take advantage of the addition of seats under different categories.

In view of the above, last date for submission of filled application forms for all M.Tech, MBA, MSc and PhD Programmes has been extended to 28.05.2008. However, in case of MBA, only OBC and SC/ST candidates may apply.
