B.Sc. Information Technology Admission Notification

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the B.Sc. Information Technology for the academic year 2007.

Centre : CCSIT, Thalikulam

Duration of Course : 6 Semesters

Eligibility for admission :- Candidate should have passed +2 of Kerala or an equivalent examination, securing 50% marks with mathematics as one of the optional subjects. Candidates belonging to SC/ST Community need only have a pass in the plus two or an equivalent examination.

No. of Total seats : 30

Reserved seats for SC/ST : As per Government rules.

Mode of Selection

All candidates, whose applications are found eligible, shall appear for an entrance examination/Interview/both conducted by the University of Calicut. Details regarding the centre of examination, date, time and venue will be intimated to the candidates through admit cards.

How To Apply

The cost of application form and prospectus is Rs.300/- which includes the fee for entrance examination as well. The amount is to be paid by a demand draft drawn in favour of Finance Officer, University of Calicut payable at State Bank of Travancore, Calicut University Branch. Application form can be had from the Co-Ordinator CCSIT, Calicut university Campus during office hours. Request for obtaining application form should be accompanied by DD/Chalan for Rs.300/- and a self addressed cover stamped (worth Rs.15/-). Name and address should be written on the reverse side of the DD.

Application form and prospectus can also be downloaded from the University website www.universityofcalicut.info and such application should be accompanied by DD/Chalan drawn in favour of Finance Officer University of Calicut for Rs.300/-.

Filled in application form together with self addressed stamped (worth Rs.5/-) envelope should be send to the Co-Ordinator, CCSIT, University of Calicut, Calicut University P.O., Pin - 673 635.
