Chandigarh to get four Government High Schools

Schools to be constructed on modern patterns

Chandigarh is all set to get four more Government High Schools taking the number of Government High Schools to 36.The schools are likely to come up in Sectors 50-B, 50-C, 53-B and 54-A.

The Chandigarh administration is also actively undertaking de-congesting the schools by constructing new buildings or making enhancements to the existing ones. For instance, the Government High School at Sector 42 gets an additional 2-storied building with 10 class rooms. Similarly the Government High School at Milkman Colony, Dhanas has got six additional class rooms.
