The University will hold an Entrance Test for enrolment to M.Phil./ Ph.D. on 2nd September 2007 (Sunday) in the following subjects: M.Phil./ Ph.D. Subjects: Ancient Indian History, Culture & Archeology, Economics, Gandhian Studies, Geography, History, Political Science, Philosophy, Psychology, Public Administration, Sociology, Library and Information Science, Centre for Women Studies, English, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Sanskrit (VVBIS & IS, Hoshiarpur), Hindi, Punjabi (Regional Centre, Muktsar), Tibetan/ Buddhist Studies, Urdu/ Persian, Anthropology, Botany, Bio-Chemistry, Bio-Physics, Bio-technology, Environment Science, Geology, Physics, Statistics, Zoology, Microbiology, Education, Physical Education, UBS, Law, Pharmacy, Fine Arts, Music and Indian Theatre.
Enrolment for M.Phil./Ph.D. at Dayanand & Vedic Studies, Swami Vivekanand Studies and Guru Nanak Sikh Studies will be based on the Test in any subject from the Faculty of Arts/Languages.
The Prospectus (including application form) will be available w.e.f. 18th July 2007 (Wednesday) on payment of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- in case of SC/ST candidates) in CASH from the SBI Fee Counter, Panjab University, Sector 14, Chandigarh.
The Panjab University does not take responsibility for any postal delays or delay in delivery by Courier or by any other means of transmission or loss in transit, of the application form, under any circumstances.
Last date for receipt of Application Form: 10th August 2007 (Friday) upto 4.00 p.m.
