Applications are invited for admission for the year 2007-2008
M. Sc., BIOTECHNOLOGY (2 YEARS)

Mode of Selection: Entrance Test and Interview.

Application Cost: Rs. 300/- (Rs. 150 for SC/ST).

Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree in Physical (Physics, Chemistry), Biological (Botany , Zoology , Biochemistry ,Microbiology, Biotechnology) / Agricultural / Veterinary / Fisheries Sciences / Pharmacy / Engineering / Technology or equivalent Degree with at least 55% marks.

Entrance Test Centers: Chennai and Karaikudi

Date and Time of Entrance Test: 27.05.2007; 10 AM -12 NOON Application and Prospectus can be obtained from the undersigned on requisition along with a crossed Bank Draft drawn in favour of The Registrar. Alagappa University payable at Karaikudi by enclosing a self-addressed stamped (Rs. 15.00) envelope of 35 cm x 10 cm. SC/ST candidates should submit attested Xerox copy of the Community Certificate along with the requisition letter. Application can also be downloaded from the websites www.alagappabiotech.org and www.alagappauniversity.ac.in. Downloaded filled in application should be accompanied by a DD for the specified amount. Candidates appearing for the final year / semester examination can also apply.
