Eligibility Criteria / Entry Requirements

The minimum qualification to apply for admission to the PGP in Finance Program is a Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3 years of education) in any discipline which is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, or any degree equivalent to the Bachelor’s degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the Secondary/Higher Secondary/Pre-Degree examinations (or equivalent) conducted by a Board/University. Candidates fresh out of college can also apply if they can produce their degree certificate by December of the year. Preference will be given to candidates with appropriate industry experience.

Mode of Admission

This involves two phases. In the first phase, selected candidates are required to take a written test to be held in Bangalore and Coimbatore. NRIs and foreign nationals may submit scores of the GMAT test; a minimum GMAT score of 550 is necessary. In the second phase, candidates successful in the written test will be called for a personal interview.

Selections for 2007-08 Batch

The closing date for submitting completed application forms is October 31, 2007. Selection involves two successive phases. In the first phase, candidates selected for the Admissions test will be notified to appear for the written test to be held in Combatore and Bangalore on November 11th (Sunday). In the second phase, candidates successful in the written test will appear for a personal interview to be held in Bangalore and Coimbatore between November 20 – 25, 2007. Candidates will be informed of their final selection by November 30, 2007. Candidates joining the program are required to pay their first installment of fees by December 10, 2007.
