Last date for submission of Applications without penalty is 31-10-2007 and the last date with penalty is 31-12-2007.

• New College Affiliation / Affiliation to stand alone institutions
• Starting New Courses in the existing colleges
• Continuance of provisional affiliation
• Permanent Affiliation
• Permanent increase in take 2008-2009
• Starting of New Colleges

Applications for the above are available for sale at the Registrar’s Office, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore = 641 046 and can be obtained by remitting the Fee in the form of Demand Draft in favor of The Registrar, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. The applications for new colleges / courses can be downloaded from the University website www.b-u.ac.in. The colleges applying through the downloaded application forms should also pay the necessary Cost of application, application / registration fee.

Educational agencies which fail to apply in the prescribed form and seek affiliation later, on the strength of approval from the AICTE, NCTE & other bodies, will not be considered for affiliation and their requests will be summarily rejected.

Those Educational Agencies which had applied in the prescribed form earlier but not granted affiliation by the University should also renew their applications for 2008-2009 before the last date by paying the prescribed fee.

Applications received after the last date with final penalty period will be summarily rejected without intimation. Further, the details of the Last date / Cost of Application, Application / Registration Fee is available in the Bharathiar University Website www.b-u.ac.in.
