Registrar says University received information of institutions with false claims

The Registrar of Bharathidasan University, in a press release, warned the students and their parents to check the recognition of the college before admitting their ward into various courses. The Registrar, in particular, suggested students who seek admission into Bachelor of Education (BEd) program of the University to check if the college is affiliated to the University and that it is granted permission to offer the BEd course.
The Registrar said that it has come to the notice of the University that some institutions who did not yet get the affiliation from the University for conducting the course are giving advertisements and even taking admissions. He said that the University has given instructions to such institutions from do so. The registrar said that the attendance granted by the institutions before getting affiliated will not be counted for the grant of certificate.
