Tamil Nadu Class X Results 2007 announced

More Girls than Boys pass in all four streams

The Examination results of the Tamil Nadu Class X of the SSLC, Matriculation, Anglo Indian and OSLC streams were announced.

Girls continue to outnumber boys in pass in all the streams. As many as 7.73 lakh school students appeared for the SSLC examinations this year of which 79.5% came out with a pass. 93.1% students passed in the Matriculation stream, 94.4% passed in the Anglo Indian stream while 79.3% pass in the OSLC stream.

Vasanthi Jeevanandam, Director of Government Examinations said that a special supplementary examination will be conducted for those who failed in the examination. The forms for appearing for the supplementary examination will be released shortly. The supplementary examinations will be held from July 4 – 12 for SSLC, July 3 – 12 for OSLC, July 2 – 12 for Ango Indian and Matriculation students.
