MBA Programme

The MBA prgramme is sponsored by Ministry of HRD. It offers dual specializations in Marketing, Finance, Systems, Human Resources and Operations. The two year residential programme includes basic core courses, electives and summer internship.

Admission Process

The applicants will be short-listed based on the scores of CAT. The short-listed candidates will be invited to attend the Group discussion and Personal Interview. CATE score will be used only for short-listing. IIMs have no role in the selection process or conduct of the MBA programme.

Application forms can be downloaded from the institute’s website or can be obtained by sending a written request along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 600/- (SC/ST candidate – Rs. 200/-) drawn in favor of Director, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli-15 payable at SBI (Code No – 1617), National Institute of Technology, Thiruchirappalli to the contact address given below.

Eligibility

A university degree in any discipline, recognized by AIU, with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.

Candidates appearing for final year degree examination in 2007 are also eligible

Last date of issue of CAT Bulletin by IIMs: August 21, 2006
Last date for receipt of completed CAT Applications by IIMs: September 9, 2006
Common Admission Test (CAT): November 19, 2006
Issue of DoMS Application Starts: November 20, 2006
Last Date for receipt of completed Applications by DoMS: December 27, 2006
