Applications are invited for admission to full-time/part-time MPhil and PhD Programme being offered in the affiliated Colleges and full-time/part-time PhD programme being offered in University departments of Periyar University during the Academic year 2007-2008.

Prospectus and applications can be had from the Registrar, Periyar University, Salem-11, by sending a requisition with Rs. 40/- stamped self-addressed envelope of A4 size and a demand draft for Rs. 250/- drawn in favour of the Registrar, Periyar University payable at Salem 636 011. The SC/ST candidates are eligible to have one application free of cost on production of an attested coy of permanent community certificate.

The requisition should clearly specify the programme for which the admission is sought. The last date for receipt of filled in applications in this office is upto 5.00 PM on 07-08-2007.
