Admission to MBA 2007

Eligibility

Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology/Science OR an equivalent degree with Maths/Economics as one of the subjects in qualifying examination. Candidates appearing in their final year of Bachelor's degree may also apply.

Procedure

Candidates applying for MBA are required to appear in CAT-2006 and apply separately for MBA. The Application Form may be downloaded after declaration of results of CAT-2006. The photocopy of down-loaded form is acceptable. Form can also be procured from the Institute by sending a self addressed stamped envelope.

The short-listed candidates shall be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview at MNNIT, Allahabad. List of Candidates called for Grup Discussion and Personal Interview will be displayed on the Institute Website on Monday, March 12, 2007.

Reservation

Reservation in admission is allowed as per the government norms. 50% of the total seats are reserved for Other State (OS) candidates. State of eligibility is determined on the basis of the state from where qualifying examination has been passed.

Submission of Form

Form filled in all respects along with D.D. of Rs.750/- (non-refundable) drawn in favour of "Director MNNIT, Allahabad", payable at Allahabad, should reach the address of correspondence on or before Monday, March 5, 2007.

Important Dates

Issue of Application Form: Friday, January 5, 2007.
Last date of Receipt of Application Form: Monday, March 5, 2007.
Declaration of Short-listed Candidates: Monday, March 12, 2007
GD/PI for short listed candidates: Sunday, April 1, 2007.
Declaration of Results: Tuesday, April 10, 2007.
