Eligibility Criteria / Entry Requirements

Citizens of India who have obtained the following qualifications shall be eligible to apply for the respective courses:
The candidate must have i) passed recognized Higher Secondary (10+2) or an equivalent examination (those who have passed 10+1 before 1987 are also eligible to apply), ii) obtained GNM certificate and be an ‘A’ Grade Nurse registered by the State Nursing Council, iii) worked for at least 3 years as a Staff Nurse or Public Health Nurse or Nurse Teacher after obtaining the above mentioned certificate.

Mode of Admission

Based on the West Bengal NURSING Admission Test Examination (WBNAT) to be conducted by the West Bengal University of Health Sciences.
