The Engineering, Agricultural ad Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) 2006 will be held o May 4. A decision to this effect was taken at the EAMCET Committee meeting held o Thursday. Reduction of fee by Rs.50 and availability of hall tickets online are some of the key changes brought in for his year's test. Officials said the EAMCET application would now cost Rs.250 for all categories. The facility of downloading the hall ticket from the website would also be extended this year to cut down problems like non-receipt of hall ticket to various reasons.

EAMCET Convenor, LVSR Sarma said HB pencils would be supplied to candidates. The schedule is follows: Notification will be issued o February 4, sale of applications from February 10, last date of receipt of applications March 7, last date of receipt of applications with a fine of Rs.500 march 14; last date of receipt of applications with a fine of Rs.1000 March 23; last date for sale of applications March 20 and issue of hall tickets at all regional centres from April 7 to 14.
