Bio - Geography - Scope and Development of Bio-Geography - The Biosphere: The World of living things - Animal Life - Nature and classification of animals - Factors influencing distribution - Geographical distribution.

Unit II

Plant and their Environment - Physiographic, Atmospheric, Edaphic factors influncing the Bio - Geographical distribution of plants

Unit III

Major Biomes of the world - Forest and Grassland distribution - the importance of plants - uses of plants

Unit IV

The Zoo - Geographical Regions of the World - Old World and New World.

Unit V

Wild life : Management and conservation - conservation, Depletion causes, legislative measures, wild life in India, Management
