RECREATION:

Unit I

i. Meaning and Definition of recreation.

ii. Scope and Significance of recreation.

Unit II

i. Agencies providing recreation. (Municipal Agencies, public, private, voluntary, youth serving Agencies.)

ii. Rural, Urban community and industrial recreation.

Unit III

Types of recreational activities, indoor and outdoor games, leadership in recreation.

CAMPING:

Unit IV

i. Scope and Significance of camping.

ii. Types of camps, selection and lay out of camp sites.

Unit V

i. Organisation and administration of camps (camp programme and activities).

ii. Leadership and supervision.

iii. Evaluation of camp work.
