Semester V - Paper VII - Rules of Games and Sports and Officiating III (Jumps, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Cricket, & Handball)

Duration of Examination: 3 hrs
Maximum Marks: 100
Credits: 4

Unit I

History and development of the following games (Cricket, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi & Handball) and Jumps (Long jump, High jump, Triple jump & Polevault)

Unit II

Planning, Constrctions, Ground measurements, markings and maintenance of the play fields.

Unit III

Rules and Regulations of the games and field events.

Unit IV

Duties of Officials, system of officiating and official signals of the games and field events.

Unit V

Various systems of play in the games and styles in the jumps.
