2. Scales - Conversion of Scales - types of scales - Linear Scale - Comparative Scale - Pace Scale - time scale - diagonal scale (1 or 2 exercises in each type).
3. Measurement of Distance, Area, Direction, Bearings, Grids and Coordinates-Enlargement and Reduction - Combination of maps.
4. Conventional Signs and Symbols (25 numbers).
5. Map reading and Map setting in the field - tour reports.
